Creating a Shadow Object in OS/2 Warp
Using a shadow of an object in a Warp workplace folder has the
advantage over MOVEing it, by leaving the original object in its
folder, safe from accidental deletion, and over COPYing it, by
allowing all settings changes made to any shadow instance of the object to
apply to all other instances.
To create a shadow, simply:
- Click the right mouse button on the object's icon.
- Choose the Make Shadow option from the menu.
- Choose the destination where the shadow object is to be created.
That's all there is to it. The shadow object may be clicked on, dragged,
or modified just like the original.
