MANAGEMENT PROFILE
ALLAN GUTIERREZ is a founding member and a Principal of Alliance Partners, Inc. Allan began his career as a member of the real estate consulting practice of Kenneth Leventhal & Company (now the E&Y Kenneth Leventhal Real Estate Group). During his tenure, he managed a variety of engagements involving portfolio sales, refinancing and project level financial forecasts. Allan was also responsible for all of the financial projection activity conducted within the Houston office, utilizing a variety of software programs, before transferring to the Miami office.
Additionally, Allan consulted with a wide variety of clients including banks, insurance companies, pension funds, private investment groups, developers, investment banking organizations and rating agencies. As a Manager within the firm, assignments encompassed securitization, financial reorganizations, strategic planning, valuations and project feasibility studies.
In 1989, Allan joined the investment banking firm of Sonnenblick-Goldman Company as a Vice President, assuming the responsibilities for originating, structuring and placing debt and equity capital for an array of institutional-grade projects. He also founded the consulting practice during his tenure, which advised clients on restructuring and refinancing alternatives. Allan is uniquely qualified to provide overall engagement guidance in the area of management consulting, having evaluated the management team of The Regency Group and Aronov Realty as part of preparing a strategic plan. Likewise, Allan prepared the valuation of Property Management Systems of Houston, one of the largest property management companies in the nation. As part of this assignment, management was evaluated and the financial performance critiqued.
In 1991, Allan founded Alliance Partners, Inc. in Miami, Florida. Allan guided API's Capital Markets Group since the firm's inception, while also directing several complex financial advisory engagements, including bulk loan sales underwriting, market studies, and valuations of equity interests in private developers.
Allan received his B.S. from Wayne State University and an M.B.A. from Michigan State University. He is a licensed Florida Real Estate Broker.
